A Beautiful Life ~ An Online Art Journal Workshop

Hello there Everyone! I am so excited to be posting this post... you see, I have been planning this little post for quite awhile now. ;)) 

Do you love to create art journals? ... or have you always wanted to make one??

I am going to be teaching an ONLINE art journal workshop where we can all create "pretty, vintage style" art journals together.

I will share with you how to create this journal from an old book... and then we will create 4 pages inside. After we make our journals, the last project will be to make a beautiful box to store our journals in. I will post each new page every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for two weeks... if you don't get finished in that two weeks don't worry I will leave the workshop site up for one month after it is over. ;))

The theme of this journal will be to find beauty within our lives, and bring that beauty to our pages. Here are the page themes...

Whether you have never created an art journal before... or whether you are a seasoned pro... it will be so much fun to create these beautiful journals together. The workshop will have easy to follow instructions and I will provide the images that I used for you to print.... plus lots of extras like scans from my vintage wallpaper/ledger paper collection. You can also use as much of your own goodie stash as you wish!

 

 

Sometimes we forget to take a little time to ourselves to recharge. I hope that this journal workshop will give us a reason to carve out a little time to create a special keepsake as a reminder of all that is beautiful in our lives.

 

I can't tell you how many times I have bought the supplies to sit down and create things... but never seem to take the time to do what I want to do. Well, this is the perfect opportunity to put some of those "goodies" we keep buying to good use!

 

 

The workshop price is $13.50 for the two week class. I wanted to keep this price as low as possible because I KNOW the economy is struggling right now... and most of all I want everyone to be able to join and create beautiful journals!
